ohmygoshthey'rehere...

Finally! After seeing these products on youtube and blogs (these images are from Alison's blog Amarixe which is great as is her YouTube channel so check them out!) for the last month or two I have been waiting to get my hands on these. If you don't know/have been living under a rock they are the Revlon Lip Butters -perfect if like me you find lipstick scary :) and the Maybelline Color (as they spell in America) Tattoo Eyeshadows.

The Revlon Lip Butters made it over the pond first and are currently available on Boots website (here) if you can get them while their in stock. If not they'll be on the shelves in Boots and Superdrug on Monday (19th) YEY. I've got my eye on Strawberry Shortcake, Peach Parfait and Berrie Smoothie.

Speaking of Superdrug they recently sneaked in the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow without a slither of PR promo. I only found out thanks to Miss Budget Beauty's Blog (here love her blog) so went on a mission to find them, so far they've only bought 6 shades over (that I've seen) hopefully they'll be more soon! I tested 3 on my hand (Permanent Taupe, Eternal Gold and On and On Bronze) and boy did it stay on my hand even through washing etc. Very impressed so I'll definitely be buying Permanent Taupe and On and On Bronze on my next shopping trip.

Any products you guys can't wait to see?

march chill...

It's a gorgeous crisp Spring morning, the sun's out and I'm... sat in bed doing uni work :/ But if I was going out this would be the perfect outfit! I've been lusting after a sequin jacket for months and this morning-whilst procrastinating I found this gorgeous one from Oasis. I already own these jeans they are AMAZING! Seriously I own 4 pairs that's how good they are. Also how awesome are these sunglasses? They kind of remind me of these Karen Walkers Number One's but at a fraction of the price :)

1. Danni Chunky Sunglasses £60 Kurt Geiger
2. Mint Blouse £7.99 H&M
3. Skinny Fit Straight Jeans £29.90 Uniqlo
4. Gold Circle Necklace £7.99 H&M

Topshop Make up Brushes Review...

About a month ago I bought some Topshop make up brushes (haul here) and have been giving them a bit of a trial run ever since. I got the smudger and concealer brush, normally I don't shop in Topshop for this type of product but I had a voucher so thought I'd give them a whirl.

First up the smudger/blending brush. For me the bristles are just too short, you can really blend your eyeshadow easily. For eyeliner its a bit easier as it isn't a fluffy brush but still not fantastic in my opinion. Saying that it seems good quality with minimal shedding and I've washed it a few times with no problems. For me it just doesn't do what I want... pretty blended eyeshadow so I'm on the lookout for another blending brush although I will keep this one for eyeliner blending.

I also got the concealer brush. I don't think this one is as good quality, it sheds a fair amount and needs cleaning really often. Plus I think the way it tapered makes it harder to get good coverage with concealer.

Not the most successful of purchases and I won't be buying anymore make up brushes from Topshop, although I do really want to try their make up range as I've heard loads of good things -have you guys used it, what did you think?

I've also read good reviews on the No7 brushes from Boots and seeing as I've got a few £5 off vouchers am tempted to try theirs after reading Sunday Girl's review. Time for another trip to the shops... :)
